Launched in 2013, the AmaPrima offers a distinctive river cruise experience. A glass elevator is one of the unique design elements found on board, and most staterooms have a French balcony as well as a step-out balcony. Accommodations range in size from 160 to 300 square feet, and all feature complimentary Internet access and a selection of current films. Other stateroom amenities include ample closet space, wireless telephone, a safe, hair dryer, flat-screen television, and individually controlled air conditioning.
AmaPrima offers a variety of gourmet dining options thanks to AmaWaterways' partnership with La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, one of the world's most prestigious gastronomic societies. At the Chef's Table restaurant, passengers can watch as a chef prepares a special tasting menu. Alternatively, they can enjoy Chaîne des Rôtisseurs culinary creations in the main dining room or, on select days, lunch served al fresco on the sun deck. The sun deck also features a heated swimming pool with a "swim-up" bar. In addition, the ship has a fitness center, walking track, massage and hair salon, and a 24-hour coffee and tea station. Bicycles are available for use ashore.
