Discover Quito's pre-Columbian and Spanish Colonial treasures, then set sail for the awe-inspiring Galápagos Islands.

Join a unique discovery of the cultural and natural wonders of Ecuador, led by an expert in pre-Columbian art. Begin in Quito, a glorious Spanish Colonial city, where the museums are rich in pre-Columbian treasures. Admire the city's UNESCO-recognized historic district on a walking tour and browse for handicrafts in a centuries-old market town. Then board the yacht Isabela II for a four-day exploration of the Galápagos. Observe the work of scientists at the Charles Darwin Research Station, swim in a protected bay as sea lions bask on the beach, and follow in Darwin's footsteps as you visit the habitats of red-footed and blue-footed boobies, giant tortoises, and land and marine iguanas. Conclude with an overnight stay in Guayaquil, Ecuador's largest city.
