Sail from Barbados aboard a luxury tall ship to uncover forgotten episodes in early American history.

The smash Broadway hit Hamilton gave many Americans a surprising lesson in the early history of their country: Alexander Hamilton, one of our most influential Founding Fathers, had roots in the British West Indies. Discover the forgotten connections between the Caribbean and 18th-century America on a winter voyage aboard the elegant tall ship Sea Cloud II. Sail to small islands where important revolutionary battles were fought, visit Alexander Hamilton's childhood home, and enjoy all the pleasures of a Caribbean cruise -- leisurely hours under sail, swimming and snorkeling in pristine waters, and strolling in lush botanical gardens. An optional prelude in Barbados will visit the former home of George Washington.
